Reminder that BPS Offers Breakfast and Lunch Daily at No Cost to Students

While the federal government shutdown is expected to impact SNAP benefits for Massachusetts families, Brockton Public Schools students continue to be entitled to access no-cost breakfast and lunch on school days.

For assistance outside of school hours, families can call or text Project Bread's Foodsource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333 to speak with a counselor. You can also chat online with a Project Bread counselor by using the "chat now" feature at the bottom of Project Bread's website.

The hotline is available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On November 1 & 2, 2025, Project Bread's hotline will offer extended hours. On Saturday, Nov. 1, the hotline will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 2, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
