Principal's Message

Hello Arnone Students and Families

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.  My name is Carrie Copp and I am the Principal of the Arnone School. I could not be more thrilled to lead a school that has by all accounts the best students, faculty and families around.

I wanted to share a bit about myself:
I have sat in several different seats but have spent most of my time at Brockton High School and most recently as the Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction. I am a very proud example of all that the Brockton Public Schools has to offer.

I attended kindergarten at the Lincoln School, elementary at the Downey, junior high at North, and high school at BHS. I graduated in 1990 and came back to teach at the high school in 1995.  I am married to a fellow BHS graduate and together Rich and I live in Mansfield with our three children. Charlotte, Claire and Richie. It is the privilege of a lifetime to be their mother.

There is nothing I take more serious than educating the children of Brockton.  It has always been my privilege to serve the families of the city.  As we embark on this journey together, I look forward to getting to know each of you but before that I want to share a few of the things I know to be true.
·      Our greatest strength is our ability to build relationships.  It is paramount to our work as educators.
·      There is nothing our students cannot do if we support them and provide them the resources they need for success.
·      Communication is vital. I will communicate with you openly and directly.
·      Student success and well-being must be at the center of every decision.
·      We will model for our children the behavior we want to see.
·      We will show up every day bringing the best versions of ourselves.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Copp

Important Changes to the 25-26 Academic Calendar

Due to extensive cancellations this winter because of weather, the district is amending the academic calendar so that April 3 (Good Friday) will be a full day, and so that school will end on Friday, June 26. The last day will also be a full day of school rather than an early release day.
